The 2007 Cadillac STS line of five-passenger sedans is all about options. There
are three V6 models powered by a 2.6-liter engine returning 255 horsepower. The
base model starts at $42,995 with the Luxury opening at $46,685 and the Luxury
Performance at $48,730. The three V8 models have a 4.6-liter engine producing
320 horsepower. The Luxury starts at $52,425 with the Luxury Performance at
$56,710 and the Premium Luxury Performance at $60,605. Estimated fuel economy on
the V6 RWD is 18 mpg city, 27 highway with the AWD returning 17/25. The V8 RWD
rates 17/27; 15/23 on the AWD.
Standard features include automatic and double zone control of climate settings,
power controlled locks and windows, power front seats with multiple adjustment
levels, an AM/FM/CD combo audio system, satellite radio, daytime running and fog
lamps, and heated mirrors.
The STS offers head room measuring 38.7 inches in the front and 37.9 in the
rear. Leg room is 42.6 and 38.3 respectively. The spacious trunk has 13.8 cubic
feet and the vehicle is capable of towing an impressive 1,000 lbs. The two
included remotes for the 2007 Cadillac STS not only open the doors but will also
start the vehicle, and activate both the heat and air. The comprehensive airbag
protection system includes two-stage bags in the front with a sensor for
detecting the presence of a passenger. The driver and all passengers are
additionally covered by curtain and side bags. |
