The 2007 Cadillac DTS starts at $42,210. Powered by a 4.6-liter V8, the vehicle
features traction control at all levels of acceleration, advanced all-wheel disc
brakes with anti-lock, and steering that automatically adjusts to the current
level of speed. Expect standard amenties like zone climate adjustment and power
seat controls.
The Luxury I package is priced from $45,210 and includes technology to store
specific adjustment settings for two drivers. The steering wheel is heated and
onboard systems include StabiliTrak and assisted braking with parking assistance
front and rear.
The Luxury II option from $47,530 adds wood accents to the powered and tilting
steering wheel which is also memory enabled. You'll also get a top-notch Bose
audio unit with a changer in the dash handling six discs.
The top of the line Performance package ($49,580) moves to a Hydra-Matic
transmission for higher shifting performance and magnetic ride control. The
included wheels measure 18 inches and are chromed aluminum with tires carrying
an H rating for all seasons.
With seating for five (buckets up front and flexible reading to the rear) the
DTS has head room measuring 38.3 front and 38.4 rear. Leg room is 42.5 and 42
respectively. Cargo capacity is 18.8 cubic feet. Estimated fuel economy is 17
mpg city and 25 highway. Maximum towing capacity on the DTS is 1,000 lbs.
