Buick LaCrosse:

Buick introduced LaCrosse in 2005 with an aim to enhance its passenger car lineup. Before the launch of LaCrosse, Regal and Century sedans used to feature prominently in the Buick passenger car series. But somehow, both the sedans did not live up to the expectation of Buick. Critics blame run of the mill handling and monotonous styling as the reasons behind Regal and Century's failure to make a mark in the automobile industry.

Buick unveiled LaCrosse, a 4-door, 6-passenger luxury sedan, mainly to give a fresh lease on life to its coveted luxury passenger vehicle line. The basic models are powered by a 3.8-liter V6 engine which provides 200 horsepower, while the Super offers a 5.3-liter V8 power plant roaring to life with 300hp. This mid-size sedan expected to take Buick tradition forward by offering refined design, skillfully designed interiors and effortless power.

LaCrosse is the sign of Buick's desperate effort to salvage its pride and revive its image as leading passenger car manufacturer. Buick has named its mid-size sedan after the popular sport of lacrosse, which resembles hockey although played on a field.

This brand-new sedan from Buick is available with three trim levels-CX, CXS, CXL and the Super. Buick is the ultimate when it comes to a quiet and comfort ride. Rivalry is getting intensified all the time in the mid-size sedan lineup with Ford Five Hundred, Honda Accord and Toyota Camry vying for larger customer share. Buick can't afford to sit and watch others getting all the attention and accolades. That's why Buick has come up with LaCrosse to stay ahead in the competition.

Buick has integrated some useful features to make LaCrosse the car to watch out for. Power windows and mirrors, power driver's seat, infrared entry, fabric upholstery, cow hide clad shift knob, the individual climate control mechanism, power lumbar adjustment have contributed in making Buick LaCrosse truly a special sedan. If you think that Buick is stuck in the era of Enclave and Lucerne, LaCrosse will compel you to think otherwise.
